40th Anniversary Production of

The Geneva Theatre Guild is happy to announce it’s 40th Anniversary Summer Musical as Evita! When deciding on this particular show the board decided to go back to it’s roots and pick a show from the 70s, when the board was founded. We received many wonderful proposals from directors for this show and are glad to announce that this year’s summer musical will be directed by non other than Geneva native, Pamela Rapoza! We are very glad she could join us in our anniversary production after having worked with the guild many times in the past.

Show Dates: August 9-12

Director: Pam Rapoza

Everyone loves a good show!

Our summer musicals have included such astounding productions as “Beauty and the Beast” (2016), “Guys and Dolls” (2013), “Into the Woods” (2011) and “The King and I” (1979). Performed in July or August at the Smith Opera house, these shows are almost always the most recognized production on our program and have drawn directors and performers from afar and right down the street.
