Donations of several types are accepted!

 

 

 

We actively seek out grants and sponsors, but donations from the public are of vital importance. Membership levels are as follows:

Angel ($100 and up)

Producer ($50 and up)

Director ($25 and up)

Stage Hand ($15 and up).

As our way of saying thank you, you’ll be granted a 1-year membership to the Geneva Theatre Guild for your donation; donations are also tax deductible! Checks can be made out to The Geneva Theatre Guild Inc and mailed to PO Box 424, Geneva, NY 14456. We’ll mail a receipt back to you for your records.

We are always grateful for the opportunity to add to our collection of costumes, props, and set pieces. Unfortunately, storage space is limited, and we can’t accept every offered donation. If we know of another community theatre group in need of something you’d like to find a new home for, we’ll gladly pass the information along (with your permission, of course).

If you would like to make a donation to our Technical/Costume collection, please email genevatheatreguild@gmail.com with a few photos of the items, along with your phone number, and a brief summary of the most convenient time and location for us to pick them up.

Why not think about joining your local community theatre? Community theatre is not only an education in all aspects of theatrical production, but also a fun way to meet like-minded members of your community.

Volunteers are encouraged to participate in every area of production, including carpentry, scenic painting, lights, sound, props, costumes, makeup/hair, stage management, run crew, and orchestra. If you’re interested in front-of-house activities, we can always use ticket takers and ushers, and we can also use help writing grants, handling publicity, selling ads, and so on. If you’re an expert, great! If you’re not, don’t worry; we’ll teach you what you need to know. An extra hand is always welcome.
